I'm Rima Massasati, My last name sounds a bit like the car Maserati. Currently, I live in NYC and work as an Art Director.

My first experience with design was when I was 5. I took my mother's favorite ruby red Lancôme lipstick and wrote my name in big letters over and over again. (Probably in a sans serif font.) So as you see the love of typography and design came early for me.

I grew up in New Orleans, and then moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was such a different beauty. I went to an international school where I loved becoming familiar with the many different cultures. Dubai's rich textures and geometric shapes continue to inspire me. From New Orleans, my greatest influence has come from the French quarter, with its many vintage hand painted signage and festive spirit.
